Submissions Policy
Feb 11th, 2007 by Basil
Simply put, we don’t seek submissions. In general, we don’t accept submissions.
If you have something you want others to read, don’t request a link to it. Rather, since we offer Inline TrackBacks … or offer Open TrackBacks … you can have a link to your post linking to one of our “Open TrackBacks” posts (or “Articles of Interest” posts) and sending a TrackBack.
If you don’t want to link to us, fine. But don’t expect us to link to you just because you asked us to. We’ll link to you if we feel like it, regardless of whether or not you ever link to us. Read our Links Policy.
Should you send submissions to you, we will either use it or ignore it. Our use may include posting in full as a Guest Blogger post, linking to your post, or parodying it in one of our posts. Most likely we’ll ignore it. Not because it’s not worthy, but because it gets lost in the shuffle of all the submissions we get.
If you don’t want us to you (or abuse) one of your posts, don’t send us one of your posts.
And remember, just because you send it, doesn’t mean we’ll use it. Read the first paragraph again: “We don’t seek submissions … (and) we don’t accept submissions.”
