Catfish sweep Hagerstown

Stephen Vogt greeted at home plate following his game-winning, 10th-inning homer.

For 9-1/2 innings, the Columbus Catfish were either behind or tied with the Hagerstown Suns (Nationals).

Catfish beat Hagerstown again

The Columbus Catfish are ending the season on a roll.
They won their 12th game in 16 tries this evening, beating the Hagerstown Suns (Nationals), 3-0. It’s their 3rd in the series with Hagerstown. A win Monday gives the Catfish a 4-game sweep.

Catfish return to winning ways

Missed a couple of nights in the ball park earlier this week because of a stomach flu.
Then, missed the first two games — Friday and Saturday night — for some events involving family.
The Columbus Catfish didn’t miss me a bit. They won both Friday and Saturday night, 3-2 and 11-8.

The Columbus Catfish’ winning streak came to a halt tonight.
The team they replaced in Columbus, the current Lake County Captains (Indians) outscored the Catfish 11-8, ending the Catfish streak at nine games.

Catfish sweep Savannah, win 9th straight

The Columbus Catfish continued their hot streak Saturday night.
The Catfish beat the Savannah Sand Gnats (Mets) 7-5 to complete a 4-game sweep, a perfect 8-0 road trip, and their 9th straight win.
The game was remarkable in one other way: the Catfish won the game despite being out-hit by Savannah, 13-5.
