Basil’s Blog contains the writings, observations, opinions and humor of Basil and his family and friends.
This little blog began in December, 2004 when Basil discovered that he enjoyed reading blogs so much, he wanted to have a blog, too. Much like a kid who enjoys baseball wants to pitch in the World Series, or a youth who enjoys football wants to play in the Super Bowl. The difference is, there are no tryouts for having a blog.
So, Basil launched his blog.
In a short period of time, this little blog received notice from IMAO because of Headline News. That’s been a regular feature of this little blog ever since.
The thing most surprising to Basil is the rise through TTLB Ecosystem. Basil, and many on the left, don’t understand it. But long ago, we quit trying to figure it out and have decided to just enjoy the ride while it lasts.
Some of what is written is opinion. Some of what is written is fact. Some is an attempt at humor. Some is out-and-out lies. The lies are clearly indicated as such. The rest, it’s up to you to figure out.
