SS Reid Brignac hit a go-ahead solo home run in the 6th inning to help the Montgomery Biscuits edge the Birmingham Barons (White Sox) 3-2 Thursday night.

For the second night in a row, the Columbus Catfish didn’t allow the Augusta Greenjackets (Giants) to score an earned run. Unlike the previous night, they didn’t allow them to score an unearned run, either.
Powered by home runs from CF Desmond Jennings and DH Brett Grandstrand, the Catfish blanked the division leaders, 6-0.
