After knocking the Augusta Greenjackets (Giants) from the ranks of the unbeatens the night before, the Columbus Catfish held Augusta scoreless for 8-2/3 innings. Unfortunately, they played 9 innings. And the Catfish ended up on the short end of a 1-0 score tonight.

After dropping 2 in a row to the the Birmingham Barons (White Sox), the Montgomery Biscuits bounced back Wednesday afternoon, taking a 6-4 decision.
CF Jason Pridie opened the game with a line drive triple to right field. He scored when 2B Brooks Badeaux hit a grounder to second base, putting the Biscuits up early, 1-0.

The Montgomery Biscuits were held to 3 hits and the Birmingham Barons (White Sox) pounded out 12 en route to a 10-1 decision Tuesday night.
