A rough night in Jacksonville for the Montgomery Biscuits tonight. And some former Columbus Catfish helped.

An 8th inning double by Matt Fields gave the Columbus Catfish the lead, and hometown hero Brian Baker shut down Rome in the 9th to give the Catfish a 5-3 win over the Braves tonight. It was the 5th straight win over Rome this season.

Columbus Catfish SS Brett Grandstrand was 3-for-4 and 3B Cesar Suarez was 3-for-5 as the Catfish pounded out 14 hits en route to a 7-1 win over the Charleston RiverDogs (Yankees).

For the second night in a row, the Charleston RiverDogs (Yankees) beat the Columbus Catfish. The Catfish couldn’t overcome an early Charleston lead, and fell 7-4.
