Tonight was a great night for baseball, and the Columbus Catfish gave a larger-than-usual crowd a present to open the 2006 home season, beating the Charleston RiverDogs (Yankees), 3-1.
The win was witnessed by 2,765 fans. While that’s not nearly as much as many teams draw, it’s nearly triple last season’s average attendance for the Catfish.

Baseball season has returned. And no, I haven’t blogged much about the Catfish so far for a couple of reasons.
